Stuart McAvoy
Stuart retired UPS as Global Director of Supply Chain Optimization and Sustainability. In this role, his global team modeled and optimized Supply Chains, measured and optimized the Carbon impact, and facilitated the purchase of Carbon offsets after optimization. Stuart also had leadership roles at UPS in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Sales, Revenue Management, and Customer Solutions. Since retiring UPS, Stuart has served as Strategic Advisor to Deposco and Cloverly.
Stuart has served on many boards including currently on The Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana's Board. He is past board member at Louisiana Center for Manufacturing Sciences Board, University of Southern Mississippi's Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation Board, Southeastern Louisiana University's Supply Chain Advisory Board, St. Tammany Economic Development Board, St. Tammany Economic Development District Board, St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Board, Northshore Technology Council's Board, and UPS Board Advisor to Deposco. Stuart served as UPS Congressional Awareness liaison to Senator Vitter (LA) and Senator Kennedy (LA).
Stuart has an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Delta College, a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Louisiana Baptist University, a Master's Degree in Science concentrated in Organizational Development and Behavior from Troy University, and holds the Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Certification.
